Happy July 4th

We celebrated the 4th in Grantsville running the Ray Barrus 5K.

Mitchell, Sam, and Veronica all ran the 1 mile.

Sam following the race showing his battle wound. He won first place for his age group. He said he probably could have run faster, but tripped at the starting line. He ran it in 8 minutes. Mitchell came in second for his age group at 7.55 minutes.

Clayton was the first to of us to cross the finish line at 22.07 minutes. He's fast!

Alyssa was next. She is the inspiration for the runs.

Grant came next.

We made it! Brian is a good sport to stay with me and cross the finish line together. I know he could run faster. It is good to have company. Our time was 29 minutes. We beat our last 5K time by almost 5 minutes.

Sabrina took 3rd place in her age group. Clayton took 2nd and Alyssa took 3rd in her age group, and Grant (not pictured) took 3rd too!
