Draper Temple Open House

We loved taking our family to see the Draper Temple
during the Open House.
It is a beautiful temple, but small.
Such a sweet spirit is already there.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Abby likes to dress up like a princess and dance with her daddy.

The dip!

The twirl!

Dancing with Daddy is the best!

Natural History Museum

We visited the Natural History Museum while the boys have been off track.

According to Abby the disosaures are "really, really, scary".

Sam and Abby

Testing their skills as a paleontologist.

Abby fits right inside this foot print.

AAAAHHHHHHH! He's got me.

Evacuated

Our emergency preparedness skills were put to the test Monday night. We were evacuated from our home. There was a refinery expolsion just west of our house. Brian was interviewed just as we were leaving.

Check it out at www.myfoxutah.com/myfox click on Refinery Fire Evacuation place on Voluntary Basis for locals.

Thankful we could stay with Grandma and Grandpa Smart. The kids were too excited to stay over night even though the evacuation had been put on a voluntary basis later in the evening. Thanks to them and their hospitality!

The Best Of 2008

2008 was a great year for our family. We are truly blessed.
Here is a look back.

Hope you all have a happy and healthy New Year!

Happy 8th Birthday Mitchell

Mitchell celebrated his 8th birthday on December 30. He was baptized by his dad January 3! He said he wanted to be baptized to follow the example of Jesus Christ. We are grateful he made that wonderful decision. We are so proud of him. We love having Mitchell apart of our family.

Merry Christmas

Visiting Temple Square is always a tradition. It is beautiful.

The Nativity on the water.

Our Snowman Tree

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas.
