More Beautiful Bear Lake

We loved visiting Bear Lake.

We toured the Tabernacle in Paris, visited with Uncle Charles and Aunt Connie.

They showed us their horses.

Playing in the lake was so fun - no one waited to get in their swimming suits.

It was hard to come home.

Grandma Smart went with us on a fun day trip to Bear Lake and Bloomington, ID.

On the way we stopped at the Gossner Cheese Factory and got Squeeky Cheese.

We all screamed for Ice Cream and stopped for a real Aggie treat.

Called to Serve

Upon attending Cub Scout Pack Meeting tonight, we realized how blessed we were to have scout leaders that are dedicated to fullfill their calling. The Cub Master and the Webelos Den Leader have a 5 month old baby at home with a serious heart condition. He recently had surgery and will require more in the future including a heart replacement by the time he is a teenager. Every week they are working with the cub scouts without making excuses or complaining. What great examples.

Unexpected Gift

We received a visit from Brother Carmack today. He brought us a potted flower to thank Mary for all the times he asked her to play the piano in Sacrament meeting and she did not hesitate to do so. Did we mention that the last time he asked her was 11 years ago? He reminded us that we need to always be thinking of others and show our gratitude for what they do for us.
